Right now it looks like I'm going to be using either a Dell 17" or 19" LCD monitor (if the 19"er will fit). It will be displayed vertically and used only as a mame monitor (no computing or anything). Does anyone have any recommendations on other LCD monitors that would work well (and are inexpensive/less than $200)?
Thanks!

Don't know if you are still looking for the LCD...but www.pcconnection.com (http://www.pcconnection.com) has a 17" and 19" LCD with rebates for under $100...the 17" is $70!
I'm debating between the two currently. I'm thinking of building a bartop as my first cab...the LCD would make it nice and slim. I guess I'll probably end up going for the 19" anyway though!
Anyone have much experience with pcconnection.com or using LCD's?

I'm not sure about those monitors, but I do have experience with Daewoo LCD displays. The new Lucent-Daewoo TFT monitors rock. They also have the Pivot facility which is a boon for those vertical game moments.
Knock on wood - I have not had any bad or dead pixels, and the screen quality is amazing. A nice feature is the inclusion of both DVI and VGA.
3 year onsite warranty and its cheap £99 +VAT. They have them in different colors. I have one in my cab, an older model and it still rocks.
With the dollar -sterling rate might not be the best, perhaps there are suppliers offering the same price in dollars.
www.scan.co.uk is a good place to take a look.
