I have a 70lbs tv 27inch for my cab. I have the cab from the Project Arcade book (Lucid style). My monitor shelf has about a 14-15 degree angle on it. COuld I just rest the TV against the back part of the cab, aka the upper back section? Or should I put some wood in there to prevent it from sliding around? I won't be moving the cab once the TV is in there.
Does anyone just have it where the TV is in there? With no big support wood?

Hey guys anyone got any advice. I guess I need to put the TV in there, and shake the cab some.

I used an old console TV screen for my first cabinet, and ended up cutting the bezel out of the front of the set, since it already had solid mounting spots for the tube, then screwed the top and bottom of the bezel into 2x4's I ran across the cabinet.
After the, I remounted the screen, solid as a rock.
Of course, that's why I went with greylite14, to hide the bastardization :)
