Title: Control panel layout feedback
Post by: Clubberlang on November 17, 2006, 03:47:15 pm
Hey everybody, I just finished a design for my control panel and I was hoping for some feedback before I went and got it all printed out. I'm going with a four-player set up with a 4-way joystick above the trackball and I want to play multiple emulators in the cabinet. any feed back would be great.

I really like the background.  I see you have the standard for the 4 player CP plus the trackball.  Do you have 2 buttons with the 4 way joy? and what are the 2 buttons and square at the top, are they coin buttons?  You say that this is for multiple emulators.  Every character is an arcade character except for Mario and even he had a few arcade games.  Look into the number of buttons on different trackball games I'm not sure but I think that there are some that use more than one.

Good luck with your planing and I hope you get more comments that just mine.

I like your graphics aswell.

I really don't like a big cluttered cp with controls for every game ever made on my machine cp, i would narrow your cp and controls down to games you really want to play and get rid of every controler. I'm not a big fan of having all you can squeeze on there like most do. (real arcade cabs do not look like that)

It's really up to you but i thought i would give my opinion.

Goodluck.
