i heard someone in putnam connecticut was shot becuase they wouldnt give someone their money.

yeah, two armed people robbed the line at 3 a.m. and one dude refused to give up his cash. Not sure why anyone would have cash on them at all.

Something smells about this deal....Just don't know what the point is of someone bidding 9k for that thing. Damn man he could probably build himself like 4 of them from scratch, for that much scratch.

Oh yeah.... there are scams galore anytime things like this come around.
And most of the time the bidding gets run up out the roof, but the "winner" is just a scammer themselves.

I was out shopping last night and saw the "groupies'.
I'm not sure what is more sad, the ones camping in front of stores or the ones who pay $3000 for them on eBay.
I saw the basketball and the dirtbike game. The basketball game looked ok, and the images were really crisp. To bad they moved like "Shields and Yarnell" (wow, really showing age on that one)
The dirtbike game looked terrible.
But hey, they are launch titles, so that's to be expected. I'll probably pick one up in a year or two when the price drops and a good game comes out for it ;)

Soon I will get a PS2. I had one a year ago that I bought at a yard sale... sold it within a few months while I could still get some cash for it because I didn't use it much.

i kinda want to try resistance fall of man.
its like the 360 the only game i have interest in is gears but it still doesnt mean ill get one.
i got my xbox last summer for 60 dollars and then another for 40. i sold one for 70 at ebgames and got the time crisis 3 set and the halo graphic novel. the novel was a huge waste of cred.
was your selling of the ps2 before guitar hero came out?
its good that the next gen nonsense came out now becuase i can pickup all the good games for 3 for $15 at gamecrazy soon.

Erm, don't know when Guitar Hero came out. I paid $40 for the PS2, barely played it, and sold it for $80.
I have an Xbox I paid $60 for but have used it about 25 minutes. I keep meaning to get a modchip for it to use it as an XBMC box.

I just noticed that ebay requires you to accept paypal as the only form of payment if selling a ps3. That sucks.
About guitar hero: me and the wife played guitar hero at Best Buy one day for like an hour. Very fun game, but there is no way I am paying that much money for the controllers and game...even though I'll buy arcade machines that only play one game. :laugh2: :laugh2:
Hehe, for the first half hour, I just thought my wife was the worst guitar player in the world she was doing to bad...then I noticed she was holding the guitar backwards. Yes, she is blonde. :laugh2:

Homicidal crooks are getting pretty smart. You could probably get more cash robbing the people in line to buy a PS3 than you would selling a PS3 on ebay.
By 2am the News crews have gone home and the guys in line are tired. Build yourself one of those cell phone jammers and you'd make a killing.
How long before CSI Miami uses this crime for one of their episodes?
