I must be having a brain lock but for the life of me I can't figure out what to do.
I have been trying to get my games to list in GL. I have run the "update" and I can see that the roms are in the c:\mame\roms directory but when I run "scan" GL just crashes back to it's game list screen with no games in it.
I have been using SpyStyles DOS boot CD and have got it to work once. I have a nice little system that was just an anchor but now has a bunch of classics on it. But I'll be damned if I can get it too work on any of my other computers. I've tried 4 different ones & I usually get this same problem. I'm sure it's not the .iso as it has worked before. Anyone have any suggestions? I can't even get the 2 "free" roms to show up in GL. :dunno

Is your mame.exe version the same version number as the rom set? I managed to get mame 0.55 running through the Spystyle CD however I had to use ClrmamePro to convert my 0.83 set back to 0.55 before gamelauncher would work.

Yup, both v.36. I have this same setup running on a near identical comp. It's part of the reason why I'm so fustrated with it !!
