I'm just saying.
This filthy lying sleazy egocentric dirtbag murders two innocent people, hires a slimy team of lawyers, and gets away with it. Now he is taunting the world about how he did it. (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20061115/D8LDF2L00.html)
If there is any justice in this world that man will die a horriffic death soon.
Johnny Cochran got his. I think we need a death pool on OJ and the rest of his lawyers. Jeezus. Lou Brown and Fred Goldman must be saints for not having popped this guy already.
edit: it is important to note that this is not a solicitation. :)
edit 2: Took out a word that was little strong that began with 'Dou' and ended with 'bag.'

When I first read about it this morning, I thought it was a really bad joke. I can't believe that it will actually air. Pathetic.
-
While OJ is guilty scum that should be on death row...
...this is the fault of the network that will pay him for the interview and the millions of people who will watch the interview on TV.
If there were no money in it, it wouldn't happen.
-
True enough.
-
I wonder if he will fear for his own life after that show airs on TV. If he's smart, he'll leave the country and never come back.

I hear Michael Jackson is looking for a roommate

The interview is just a promotion for his new book entitled "If I did it"

It's really the most incredible indication of our beloved criminal justice system.
-
Why would he even write the book? I bet he says some incriminating things in there.
-
Doesn't matter if he comes out and admits it openly. He cannot be retried.
-

He's openly tormenting the families of his victims. Chad is right, I think he could admit guilt at this point and nothing could be done.
-
The 5th amendment of the US Constitution says he cannot be retried. He could take out an ad campaign about his guilt and still stay free.
-
It then becomes society's duty to make him feel so unwelcomed that he's forced to move to France or something. :P
-
"He can write pretty much whatever he wants," said Laurie Levenson, a Loyola University law school professor and former federal prosecutor who has followed the case closely. "Unless he's confessing to killing somebody else, he can probably do this with impunity."
OMG. and you know he's gonna make money doing that. He never paid the $33.5million to the goldmans.
They can't take his NFL pension or his FLA house. So he will play golf and do whatever he wants.
And he wants to write a freaking book called "IF I did it".
This is so nuts, I can't even believe it.
-
The only thing more nuts is that there will be an audience for it.
-
He's just asking for someone to take matters into their own hands and put a bullet in his head.
-
The fact that they haven't already done so says that no one cares enough to do it now.
-
If someone did, no matter how "right" or not, they'd get guaranteed jailtime. UNLESS they read his book and use his techniques!
;D
-

While that is True in a sense he can be tried for a Lesser or Greater Crime. i.e. If he was not guilty of First degree muder he can still be charged with Manslaugher as long as new evidance is atmitted into the case.
-
He can be retried in federal court. It has happened in the past. In order for that to happen it would have to be a civil rights violation. It has happened is some cases where KKK type people have been acquitted of murder and they were then brought to federal court for civil rights violations. So it could be said that he violated the civil rights of his victims.
-
Not unless they want to try and prove it was racially motivated, which clearly it wasn't.
And he has already been tried in Civil court too.
-
The feds can charge him with violating civil rights now. But they won't because the state has already cleared him.
It would also cause a helluva mess. Remember what happened when he was let out? OMG.
I wonder if he ever got a lead on the "real killers"????
-
What we need for him is Dexter. Anyone watch that show on Showtime?
-
The feds can charge him with violating civil rights now.
What violation(s) specifically?
-
The only thing they can charge him with is bad taste...

A sad, sad state of affairs that we live in these days. The ultra-left "do what feels good for me" mantra has overtaken hard and honest work in this country.
People would rather listen to OJ, worry about Tom Cruise and Madonna, watch dancing with the stars and American Idol rather than deal with real problems that are out there and make a contribution to society. This reality TV stuff was just annoying before, but now it is becoming a detriment to America.
The only thing that makes more angry than OJ doing it, is the people that will actually promote this garbage by buying the book and watching the reality tripe unfold on TV.
Everyone should do their part and not watch or buy anything related to this, and tell others to do the same. Until the general populace does something about this, you can expect to only hear more about these people and things that don't really amount to a hill of beans in the end.
Hmm, maybe this should have been a post on the P&R board... apologies for the </rant>

The plug has been pulled.

Anybody see "The Naked Gun"? That movie's chock full of ideas on OJ treatment......

How this is a rant on the ultra left is beyond me. Right wing republicans watch those shows and keep them on the air just like everyone else. Americas heartland also funds the porn industry as much as anywhere else. The detriment, as you see it, is not the result of the left it's a group effort. No matter how much you want to blame a group you're not a part of.

Violating Civil rights can be used as a murder conviction from the feds.
It's a federal charge that was used to get Klansmen and other haters when the local yokels won't effectively prosecute a case.
He did, after all, lose the civil suit. Johnny C is dead.
-
Yeah, but they already had the civil suit, so he probably can't be sued again. And he'd have to be proven to have killed them because they are white. Not likely.
-
It's a federal wrap. He's had the state level court with juristiction clear him. He had the state level civil courts sue him.
Now he could have the federal level pursue him for "violation of civil rights".
At least that's the way I understand it.
-
The plug has been pulled.
w00t!
Oh wait. I thought you meant that someone pulled the plug on OJ. :) :badmood:
I am thrilled that the American public still has the decency to make known that this type of crap is unacceptable. I thought we had grown trashy to the point where crass and viscious projects like this would be watched.
-
maybe that whats OJ intention in the first place, to GET NOTICE again.
OJ is now all well known AGAIN and everyone is talking about him.
This man will probably outlive some of us and gets in the Guinees World Book of REcords for the oldest man alive.
Anyway, OJ if your reading this, I will see you in HELL my friend >:D

I thought the same.
First thing came to mind was, finally someone Squizze the Juice out of the OJ.
-
They canceled O.J.s interpretation of the murder to make way for Michael Richards interpretation of roots.
Not my joke.
-
Maybe Richards was talking about OJ.
-
I say hang the basterd, if not for the murders, for trying to make money off the murders in extremely bad taste.
Wait till we find bin laden and have a multiple hanging. ;) I'd watch that.

I'll get that next episode of "Faces of Death" if this 2 and Sadam are all in the hanging..... >:D
