Title: Ipac+Optipac=Questions

I have and Ipac, Optipac, and a trackball. I want to use the trackball as the mouse and two fire buttons ans the mouse buttons. If two buttons are hooked up to both the Ipac and Optipac, it confuses windows and mame as it read the mouse click and the fire button at the same time. Any creative solutions?

Remove the leads from the buttons to the Ipac. Then just re-configure MAME to read those two buttons as Mouse button 1 and Mouse button 2.

That makes sense. Not to sound stupid, but where do I go to remap mame so it reads left mouse click as player 2 button?

Start mame, hit Tab, and you can then navigate a menu...

Go to the Input (general) menu....

..where you can change controls for all the players. Select the control (e.g. Player 2, button 1). Hit enter to let you remap the button, then hit the left mouse button (or whatever button you want mame to use for that button) and it will detect it and fill it in....
