Title: scan line compression question

I recently swapped a bad chassis for another chassis that was old but previously working and I now have a two inch line were the scan lines seem to be compressed.  I have tried adjusting all the basic controls and nothing made a difference.  Does anyone know what causes this and can it be fixed with a re-cap of the chassis?  The attached picture shows the problem well if you look at Spiderman's foot.  Thanks.

You appear to have a linearity issue.  I would definitely cap that monitor.
