I've got a 19" arcade monitor. If the brand and model are important, I can go find them out. Anywas, I'm not getting any red on the screen. The whole color seems to be missing. I had a guy look at it, and he theorized there was a bad transistor somewhere. I don't know enouogh about the inner-workings of monitor to say what the problem might be. Does anybody know where to start? And how much would it cost to fix something like that?

the make and model are extremely important, but as pointer missing colour maybe down to one of a few things;input signal from game board missing, faulty decoder i/c,faulty o/c drive transistor or tube gun fault
get us the make/model and we can point you to the correct area
a very good quick way of fault finding with this fault is swapping the red and blue wires on the monitor signal input plug,if its a signal problem from the game board then the blue won't work if its a monitor problem then the red will still be missing but the blue will work
