Title: MameWAH and skipping "OK" stuff
Post by: Lucky S.O.B. on March 26, 2003, 02:12:56 pm
I just stumbled across mamewah and it looks very promising but I have a few questions:

1) Is there a way to skip over the "type ok" screen?
2) Is there a way to skip over the "press any key" screen?

If anyone out there has a pretty tricked out config with multiple emu's could you please email me a copy to look at?

Create yourself a MAME.INI and make sure it has the following in it:

skip_disclaimer         1
skip_gameinfo           1

I think it will still ask you to type OK when games have problems...but you could compile your own MAME build to get around that.

I can email you a config file with a few emus setup if you like, but I seriously think it would be easier to create you own via the menus, rather than trying to edit my setup.

as minwah said ^

...but, i don't think there is a way to overcome the 'ok' screens for problems (ie, 'This game lacks sound' etc etc) - if you're using a cab, and have the joystick setup up as the arrow keys, just wiggle it from side-to-side a couple of times and the message dissapears
