Hi all,
Im going to use the March sale as the incentive to finally start my cabinet. After doing alot of research, I have pretty much decided on getting blue competition joysticks with heavy duty springs and perfect 360 electronic switches. The only question that I have to ask is how the hell do I order that combination from Happs ?
-
LOL.. damn.. I'm pretty sure you'll have to order all the individual parts for the P360 and then leave out the spring and shaft and order those separate also.. but then you pretty much miss out on the sale price (probably even pay over normal price).
Just order the P360s and the heavier springs by part number (you can fill in a part number on the order screen.. somewhere.. just look around.. part numbers are listed in each items 'exploded' view).
But.. what are you thinking of frankensteining together? I mean these 2 joysticks have different actuators and bases.. I don't think you can put a competition shaft in a P360 and get the e-clip to line up.. I'm also pretty sure the microelectonic switch array wouldn't fit on a competition base.. just some things to think about.

Im just going off the last post to this thread. Does anyone have the answer to this ?
There seems to be a misconception that the perfect 360 is 1 type of joystick. You can get any of Happ's major joysticks in a p360 design- Super, Competition, etc. Just find the one with switches that you like best.

The only thing I've ever ordered separatly are the springs and shafts, an in-order to do so on happs site you need to goto the exploded-view / instructional data-sheet for the joysticks and write down all the part numbers for the individual pieces. After that if you search by part number you can add them individually to your cart. Hope that helps.

Thanks toilet.
It seems that Perfect 360's were available over 12 months ago as a "clip/screw on" conversion kit to all three of the popular joystick models (Utimate, Competitions, Supers) however it seems that they have been disontinued.
Instead Happs now sell an all-in one complete joystick (available with black handle only)
I am merely speculating based on this link, so correct me if I am wrong:

I am going to just go with the black perfect 360's as advertised, (unless someone knows how to get a different colored handle without painting over the black!)

Considering SlickStick http://www.slikstik.com/order.htm (http://www.slikstik.com/order.htm) offer the 360's as a upgrade option, but in black only, I dont like my chances.

I bought the complete kit.. From my experience, the p360s come with a heavier spring than the rest of the joys already.

my perfect 360 is sticking bad its been one week. any idea why this could happen?

The P360's used to be a switch replacement option, but now they are their own joystick, as you have already guessed.
These bases are not made by IL and will not accept a 10mm shaft (that means Super and Comp shafts are out). It seems Happ "Americanized" the P360 and designed it with a 3/8" (9.5mm) shaft. If you go with a P360, you are pretty much stuck with the stock shaft.
