I have an arkanoid spinner that needs a way to connect to my pc.

It has a 4pin header on the optic board that's labelled:  Left, +5, Grnd, Right   Anybody have a mouse hack that I can hook up to this and get it working?

I've tried on my own but I suck at soldering and I think I just screwed up another microsoft mouse.   :banghead:

I think the problem here is that you used a Microsoft mouse.  I tried a couple, couldn't get them to work.  Finally gave up.

I'm pretty sure I've tried one of mine with an Arkanoid spinner.  I'll verify that and get back to you.  Watch your PMs.

That's interesting.  I had specifically used the Microsoft scroll mouse because the mouse-hack plans I'd found suggested it.  http://mamewah.mameworld.net/mousehack.htm

Let me know what you find, Kremmit.

I bought the Arkanoid spinner here at B/S/T but it's always possible that the board itself doesn't work.  I really need to spend more time testing out my options.   Seeing if it's my hack that's the problem or something else.   But let me know what you find.
