WinXP Pro
I have a Wells Gardner WG 25K7191 monitor and an ArcadeVGA2 in my cabinet. I am currently connected to it remotely. (The actual cabinet power is off)
I had the resolution at 640x480 which is what I normally use. However, being connected remotely, I changed the resolution to 800x600 to give me a little more room to work on some Mala configuration. Now that I'm in 800x600, my resolution slider won't go any lower than that! I'm afraid to turn my cabinet monitor on because I don't know what the 800x600 signal will do to it. I couldn't find a definitive answer if this was safe or not.
Is it safe to leave this in 800x600? How do I get my slider to allow 640x480 again? Thanks for your help!

Dont know about the monitor, but to get to 640x480:
In Display Properties->Settings (where the slider is) click on "Advanced"
Click on "Adapter" Tab
Click on "List All Modes..."
Select "640 by 480, True Colour....... 60Hz" or similar.
Click Ok.
Click Apply. Should be back to 640x480.

Yes i think that it will fry your monitor if it run too long on it (reduce lifetime.. :( ) that's why it's not an officialy supported mode...
So that was my 2 cents..
