Title: Sanyo 20EZ monitor problems
Post by: ASmig on November 01, 2006, 07:38:10 pm
I just installed a cap kit and it didn't resolve my original problem. The right half of the monitor does not focus properly and it appears that the red and blue of the sprites seperate. Any thoughts as to what components I should investigate next?  Would the yoke convergance cause only half the screen to appear that way?

You're having convergence issues.  Was this working properly until recently?

Well one for the archives, yes convergance can affect only half of the screen. After playing around with the sliders on the neck I was able to get a perfect image once again. It was so good I actually had to turn the focus control back down. I'll note that after you adjust the convergance you'll likely need to resize and recenter the image. Pics just can't do it justice.
