Gents, I was playing for nearly the first time on the machine and I'm finding that the combination of the weight and long throw of the SlikStik stainless sticks makes it very difficult to pull off the high-flava combos. I've played SF and MK since I was a lad and it seems I've misjudged these sticks as being awesome. They feel so smooth and I have the heavy spring in them, but I can't make it happen how I'd like. I found these
www.dragonjoystick.com (http://www.dragonjoystick.com)
But can't make contact with them. I want to try their smaller aluminum sticks, but they may be out of business. Anyone know? I don't want to go with classic black, that's for certain.

Never seen those guys before. Interesting.

I loved the idea, but there's no response to emails and I won't just paypal the money cause they have no paypal feedback either. I don't want the standard stick, but I'd love the Dragon Joysticks, if I could make contact. I'll post a review if I can ever get a hold of a pair.

I can hear Kremmit warming up his credit card in preparation for buying more parts for his closet. ;)

Nope, not this time. Bat-tops = bleh.

Even if you did warm up that credit card, you'd probably just lose your money since I can't seem to get any info at all beyond what's on the site...

I'm always hesitant when the business email for a company is through Hotmail. But that's just me.

The domain was only registered about 6 months ago. It's possible that they've got the website up but don't actually have the products.
It'll be interesting to see if these materialize although I, like Kremmit, don't particularly like Bat-Tops.

FWIW, at one point in the past, the owner of the dragonjoystick website donated something (money?) to the BYOAC FAQ:
http://arcadecontrols.com/donations.php
Also, he has restored a Tron and has at least one other MAME machine. I haven't been able to figure out what his BYOAC user name is but he is or was part of the 'community'

QB, good researchin. I'd really like to know what's up with them. I found them about 3 months ago, nothing's changed with the site and I can't get an email response no matter which address I email from, and that's over the last month. I don't love bat tops either, but I'd at least like to get a set so I can drop a review for all the folks that might love em. Sounds tempting enough anyway.

Looks like he's about an hour north of me, so I could always drive up there and knock on his door.
