With the Playstation 3 launch just around the corner, Sony has released further information about the next gen console. The PS3 is a power hug and consumes around 380 watts of power more than double the Xbox 360's 160 watts and eight times the PS2's nimble 45 watts. So spending an average of 4 hours a day on the machine will add approx $ 80 to your yearly power bill.

It is packaging that power up and sending it back to Sony. Soon they will own all of the world's power and will sell it on overpriced DVDs with John Madden's name on them.
Boom! Tough Actin' 15 leg turkeys!

Somehow I doubt anybody will notice $6/month more on their electric bill or even have a clue that the increase came from the PS3 as opposed to doing a few extra loads of laundry. (Nevermind the fact that the xbox360 would cost $3/month based on the same equation).
Talk about mountain out of molehills.
