Title: WTB: Dual pedals
Post by: Angry_Radish on October 29, 2006, 06:43:48 pm
As the title says, I'm looking for a set of dual pedals for a standup, as well as a 4-way shifter. If you have some laying around, please drop me a line and let me know how much you would want for them.

Or, you aren't looking for money (yeah, right),or wanting to a trade with some cash as well, I also have the following parts laying around:
2 Supers
2 Ultimates
2 Comps
Used 3" happ trackball (with green boards)

Thanks!

Looking for a two-way shifter here.  Not a Pole Position one, tho, as those apparently don't work on MAME.

Pm sent on the shifter and pedals..

Texas, I won't be using my 2way shifter out of my cab, it's a happ from what I can tell.
The previous operator modded the pole position cab I got to run final lap 3, he put in a happ 270 wheel and a new shifter, it uses one microswitch with it being closed in one position, and open in the other, not sure if you can use it or not..

You can get pole position shifters to work. I  hacked the shifter on a pole position cab that I no longer have. You just ad a microswitch and rig up a nail head to make contact with the new microswitch. Easy to understand what I am saying once you take the shifter apart.

Wouldn't it just be easier to run another wire to the other contact on the 1 microswitch?
When the shifter is in one position, 1 contact would close, when it's in the other position, the other contact would close..

I may be wrong, but if you do that, there is no neutral position.
