MAME Arcade Control Panel Marble Contact Paper. You are bidding on 1 yard, 36" long x 18" wide, section of contact paper. Please note that patterns may vary from photo due to being on a roll. Thanks for looking and please see my other auctions for more good deals.
I mean c'mon. A "section" of contact paper for... $11.00? :laugh2:

I almost feel bad that I didn't go that route now. Especially since it's such a hott deal. Hott with 2 Ts! ::)

Now you too can have a CrapMame.
I'm really surprised to see a seller that has 369 feedback selling this.
-
I think depot sells the whole roll for 5 dollars. :lame:
-
And what's special about it that it's MAME Contract paper as opposed to regular old contact paper. Heh. THey did use that marble stuff on some TV show that made a MAME cabinet...

Weren't auctions with the name "MAME" in it supposed to be withdrawn?

There's nothing funny about this!! It means I can now, finally, complete the exterior refinishing job on my house!

Well, I do plan on putting a MAME logo out front. It's not finished yet, so don't judge! :P

LOL. You can sell it for 10x what you paid for it once the MAME logo is on it.

Clasic Mr. C!!!
A lot -o- effort for the joke though. Hope that house was already masked out.
On my first CP I used a bright blue shelfpaper. I never really liked the marble looking stuff, because we had the green version in our bathroom drawers when I was growing up. I did not want my bathroom on my pannel. (So I used someone elses bathroom I guess).
Kinda funny. About 6 years ago, contact paper was the norm. We did not have access to MAMEMarquees n such. If you want an interesting sight of home cabinet evolution, check out the examples page on the wiki. When I went through and checked all the cabinet links (took 3 days), I found it interesting how things evolved. Things were very basic at first (plain wood with a joystick and a couple of buttons), then it evolved into the contact paper, then people thought about putting plastics, then it was make it as good as the real thing, now it is pimp the thing and make it over the top.

If the MAME folks find out about it, they may tell him to rename the auction.

Looks like you might need a couple more pieces to fill that hole Mr C.
Better hurry too cuz winters a commin'.
;D
I have some hunks of it here you can have, but you'll have to match up the pattern to suit yourself.

Thanks. Yup, maybe too much effort, but I've been known to waste my time doing much worse. :D

I like that it was the norm, it's a charming part of arcade building history. Of course, it's also tacky, but damn it if it wasn't a more interesting solution than black paint.
