I've found three so far in my price range. Two are AMI (Not Rowe/AMI), and one is a Seeburg. All are from the 1950's. All are cheap as crap.
- An AMI F-120. Untested, needs paint, but complete. $200, 80 miles away. Nice machine, but almost a quarter of a ton in weight.
- An AMI I-200. Fully working, needs cosmetic restoration and amp capacitors. $300, 30 miles away, and less weight. Main problem is current owner has no idea on how to get it out of his basement.
- A Seeburg Q160. Needs electronic/mechanical restoration. $150, 45 miles away. Has the complicated Tormat selection system.
I'm split between all three. Opinions? Here are some pics. Top is the F-120, middle is the I, but a 120 selection model, and third is the Q160.

The best place to ask would be over on the alt.collecting.juke-boxes newsgroup (use google groups if you aren't setup on newsgroups with your ISP).
While not a very active group, it is regularly monitored by those heavily into collecting and restoring old jukes. I'm sure somebody there could give you some ideas about sound quality, reliability, repairability and parts availability for each of those jukes.

Why not just buy them all, i'm sure your parents can afford it ;D

That was mean Barcrest.
USSEnterprise I guess you don't have any help. Somebody put that in the basement and some people can get it out. You need a heavy duty dolly and 3 guys. You can get it out then.
Check www.gameroommagazine.com to see if there is an arcade auction in your area. They have working ones there you can load up for about $200.
Or buy this - one - (http://www.brookstone.com/shop/product.asp?product_code=548677&world_code=2&category_code=20&subcategory_code=178&search_type=subcategory&cm_ven=Compare&cm_cat=Impaqt&cm_pla=Nextag&cm_ite=861182&IQ_SF=861182)

I have a seeburg from a year or two earlier. It is very heavy. Might look for a fourth guy to help lift.
-
i like the looks of the seeburg 160, that would be my pick

That Seeburg Q has a very difficult to recap amplifier---extremely complicated. I would avoid it.
The AMI I is a very pretty machine and has a fairly straight forward sound system which is easy to work on. This is the juke I would choose if I were you.

Updates...
The AMI I turned out to be an AMI F with a cracked glass, which really doesn't matter, since the F will not fit in our SUV. The Seeburg has major water damage to the painted glass, so I am going to stay away.
BTW, like all my other pinball machines, soda machines, etc, I am paying for this myself. :lame:
