Title: Ques about Happ Super adjustments

Hello all,

I have my happ Super top mounted and recessed just enough to hide the mounting plates. The Super comes with 2 sleeves for the shaft. Longer for wood panels and short for metal panels. At first I used the shorter (thinking since this is top mounted) but the spring seemed too tight. Now I have installed the longer at the spring feels better but the handle has an awful long throw to it. Is there way to use the shorter and have the spring a little more loose?

You could try replacing the spring with a lighter one.
I don't know if this is even a possibility...seems it would be.

You could also try a Happs Comp. Much lighter springs in those. I think they have the same footprint.
