Title: Where can I find Robotron cabinet plans?

So I've got this MK2 restoration project, and I can get my hands on a Donkey Kong cabinet pretty easily.

But I really want a Robotron.

REALLY want one.  :hissy:

I've been shopping around various places. There's nothing locally, and the ones that come up on eBay are a bit too pricey.

I've decided that I want to build one from scratch, but I haven't been able to locate any plans or measurements. Jakobud's site only has plans for the cocktail cab, and I'd much rather have an upright. Anyone have any info?

Go on jakobud's site and look at the Moon Patrol cabinet.

If you look at the side profile and just extend a straight line down from the control panel to the floor, you should have a Robotron cabinet.  Check out the attached drawings.  The first one is from Jakobud's site, and the second one I drew in the line to make it into a Robotron cab. 

I was gonna do this and build it until I was able to purchase a converted Robotron cabinet.  It had a working Capcom game in there, but it was definitely a Robotron cabinet, and I practically stole it for $80!!! No side art though  :'(  some sadistic lunatic  >:( had taken a belt sander to the original side art, then covered it with cheap black formica.  The formica was falling off the sides when I got it... Very sad indeed.  But I will put things right soon.  ;D

I am out of town right now and cannot measure my cab and compare it to the Moon Patrol plans, but they are very similar cab styles, and I don't see why there would be very much difference.

I will take some pics and measure it when I get home next week.

Just measured my cab.  Seems to be pretty similar to the Moon Patrol. 

It is 69" tall, 26" wide, and 28.5" deep at the deepest part.

Hm. That's not quite as tall as I remember.

Of course, I was shorter then.  ;D

I just measured my Moon Patrol at 70" tall, 24.5" wide, and 28.5" deep.

The curve around the monitor section is noticably different as well.  They are very similar, though.

Yeah, I noticed the curve; definitely not the same, but similar.

Did Williams ever use that cabinet shape on any other game?
