Hi all.
I have a 19" Kortek KT-1901A monitor that I got in an auction. Don't know if it is working or not but it is very clean and looks almost brand new. It is missing the little remote adjustment board.
Will a monitor power up and/or display a picture with out this little board attached???
I powered the thing up and fed a signal to it, but did not see any picture, and I did not hear flyback whine and did not hear the tube power up.
Should I try to get a remote adjustment board to continue to test this monitor, or does it sound like there is something else wrong with it???
Also, does anybody know where to get a remote adjustment board for this model??? Could not find much on it online. I guess I will need it anyway if I do get it working.
I will post some pics of it when ever I find my dagone digital camera...

www.casinotech.com is the only authorized Kortek service center. They might have the board you need.
Most monitors will not operate without the remote board connected. Some monitors (Tatung brand in particular) will be immediately damaged upon powering up without the remote board connected.

Has anyone ever seen one like this??? I have found very little mention of a KT-1901N anywhere on the Net.
I will ask the Casinotech people to see if a 1903N adjustment board will work with a 1901N. :dunno
