Title: Gear required for custom stick
Post by: mcsilvio on October 14, 2006, 09:37:02 pm
hi all,
can someone recommend me some parts?

i need 30mm red competition style buttons. but i want the smallest profile buttons available. i mean i want them as shallow as possible.

i need some 24mm ones too.

i think i want a sanwa joystick too.

if someone can recommend which brand of buttons i should get. and which part numer if you know it, id really appreciate it.

are snap ins better than screw ins?

more importantly, if someone can recommend someone here who sells this equipment? i need all this stuff in red and also in white.

many thanks,
Marco.

Ponyboy has great prices and is a trusted relible seller. Check his thread at the top. Goodluck on the stick man.

As far as Sanwa buttons, there is no performance difference between the snap-in and screw-in buttons. It's a matter of how you plan to mount your buttons.

As mentioned above, PonyBoy is the way to go. But keep in mind PonyBoy only carries screw-in Sanwa buttons.

Member richardp171 carries Sanwa Snap-in buttons. They both have selling threads in this section. When you look at their selling threads the part numbers will be listed. They carry standard type Sanwa buttons, and those are the ones you need.
