Any way, it was a kiddy ride scooter with "Pole Position" label on the side...kinda funny when you see it, not in words ::)

There's actually a working Pole cockpit at the Chuck E. Rat's here in town. I had forgotten how bad I am at that game.

I stumbled on a working Pole Position in a community center near where I live. I also discovered that I still stink at that game.

The secret to PP is doing the mad spins in the turns and getting absolute top speed. Problem with this is... your top speed is at the mercy of the pedal!
One time, I discovered that wedging my foot under the pedal caused my car to go the fastest possible. I broke all the high scores on the machine with that technique! (Doesn't work on all of them though, just ones with broken pedals!)
