Title: do I need the mame resolution tool?
Post by: Sizzler on October 05, 2006, 09:45:27 pm
Is the mame resolution tool for arcade monitors or computer monitors?

It seems like a tool that might help me but there isn't much of an explanation of what it would do for me.  Do I need automatic and manual selection of resolutions?

Here is my imaginatively titled M.A.M.E. Resolution Tool, for automatic (& manual) selection of resolutions & INI file creation.  Click here to see it in action.  Note the above system files are required for this to run.  Simply download the zip-file and unzip to your chosen location.

It is for folks using an arcade monitor using a video card that will produce lower scan rates n resolutions.
There is not much about it and using it at first is a little bit of a pain. Once you get to know it better it works very well. But you will probably  :banghead:  for a while.
