Hello,
As many of you know I am having some problems wiring up my new CP.
My first attempt at wiring it up involved wiring up all of player 2s controls then testing. All the buttons fired correctly but my joy responded maybe 70% of the time.
I removed the switches from the Happs Super thinking that my sticks may be bumping into the CP. I then test fired them with my finger. Same result.
I have now unwired everything to try to narrow down the problem. Currently I have 4 switches hooked up. 2 to the left and right on P2 and 2 to P2 buttons. The buttons fire fine but the left are still having the same issue. I have tried switching around the switches too.
I am using the iPac in USB mode (as I don't have a ps/2 cable). I have tested it on my desktop and my laptop with the same results.
I have wired 2 other CPs in my day...both using iPacs and have had no issues at all.
Am I missing something here? Any other suggestions before I tried to get a replacement?
Thanks in advance.

Heh, I don't know how manufacturers made motherboards, still USB problems.
If it's USB 2.0 port try to disable high speed on it, it will be works as USB 1.1.

I've tried it on my desktop which doesn't support 2.0 and my laptop which does. Both had the same results.
I do remember when I build my first cab the usb caused some issues so I stuck with ps/2. I think tonight I'm going to hack together my own ps/2 cable and see if that'll do the trick.
Any other suggestiosn?

Contacted Andy and he is issuing me a replacement chip. Apparently there were some issues around the time mine was sent out.
Should have it in a week and will hopefully post a positive update.
Thanks Andy!
