I'm in the planning stages of my next cabinet and I'm heavily leaning towards a 75% scale mini-cabinet for my daughter (she's 2). I'm thinking of a Ms. Pac-man design with custom sideart and marquee and a vertical monitor. The CP would have one joystick and 2-3 action buttons and maybe a trackball or spinner. Anyway, are these things playable at all for an adult? I'm hoping my daughter can stand on a crate or something to see the screen and my wife and I could use a stool and sit and play.
Any general thoughts on these things?

I'm 6'1 and have no problems standing playing my mini-cab. It's about 60" tall. However, it does not have a marquee so my monitor sits a lot higher than it would if I did include the marquee. Don't think it would be as comfortable.

I'm currently in the home stretch of building a 3/4 scale Lusid cab, and the control panel height is perfect for sitting in a chair and playing it. Its definately playable by adults.

I scaled one to 48" and it is perfect to sit at. The CP is only 16" wide, so ithe whole cab fits comfortably between your knees.
You might want to move the marquee backward a few inches to allow for better viewing from higher points, but that's up to you.
