I bought a box of game parts from ebay. It had a few buttons and a bunch of joysticks and joystick parts. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of joysticks these are. Most of the microswitch joysticks have cherry switches on them but there are no names or any kind of numbers on any of them that I can find.
I know 4 of them are Wico Leaf joysticks but I don't know what model or anything. There was a round disk in the box that says Wico 360 but I don't know if it goes with the joysticks that say Wico on them. I've seen a lot of posts on here talking about Wico Leaf joysticks. Are they any good?
Unfortunately all of the Wico have the sticks removed. There are a bunch of sticks in the box but I'm not sure how the Wico are supposed to go together. Is there an exploded parts diagram available anywhere?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

#1 is a variety of Happ Ultimate
#2 is a Happ Competition
#3 is a Wico 8-way.
The dustwasher is likely from a Wico that shipped with a P360 kit on it, but I don't know for sure, I've never seen a washer like that before.
I don't have a Wico assembly diagram, but the handle goes in from the top- you'll have to wiggle and shake things around to get it through the metal washer that's floating around inside the base. Then the small spring (about a half inch tall and just big enough around to fit on the handle shaft) goes on from the bottom. Then the actuator (dust & rust covered white plastic cylinder, about 3/4 inches long) goes on, with the small end facing up into the joystick base. Last, the e-clip (flat metal disc open on one side) slips into the slot on the bottom of the handle.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like most of them are half decent joysticks anyway. Happ is a good brand isn't it?
In the box I got 6 unknown #1, 5 unknown #2, 5 Wico Leaf, a couple of other joysticks with cheap looking micro switches on them, and a few buttons.
I paid $45 with shipping for them. Seems like the cherry micro switches would be worth close to that.
Was it a bad deal? Just looking for opinions.

It was an awful deal. You should ship them to me right away for proper disposal. :D

The Ultimates are generally considered crap, but the Competitions are fairly popular. The Wicos are the stars here- they're worth at least the price you paid by themselves, maybe more, depending on condition of the rubber grommets inside.

I'll check out the Wico's. Most of them are missing the sticks but the main body seems to be there. If you think there would be enough interest maybe I'll put the Wico's over in the B/S/T section. I'll probably keep the competitions for my own cabinet. A project starting in the near future.
