Well, after writing a lengthy first post and having it disappear into the black hole of cyberspace, I'll start again.
Hello everybody! I've been lurking around the forums for some time now and have finally joined. So, a little about myself:
Hi, I'm DStone, I live in Oklahoma. I have 4 arcade machines (one of which is a MAME cocktail, http://missionmodelive.sytes.net/cocktail - I'm on a wireless provider, sometimes it doesn't work) and plan on building 2 more (both MAME, one upright and one a Joust-style cocktail).
My three other machines are Asteroids Deluxe, Omega Race, and Steel Talons. The Omega Race is currently down (I think it's a fuse, just haven't had time to work on it) and the Steel Talons is quite a project. The corners are all busted up, the T-molding falling off, the artwork is in pretty sad shape and both monitors don't work, but I figure it will make for a fun winter project.
I'll try to find my digital camera and post some pictures of the machines.
I look forward to enjoying the community.

Both of you guys are from Oklahoma?
Tell me something - what does the insurace company pay you guys when a tornado carries away one of your arcade machines?

Oklahoma City
what does the insurance company pay you guys when a tornado carries away one of your arcade machines?
I'd prefer not to find out, but I would assume they would replace them. I probably should call up the insurance company to check.

Hi Dstone,

Omega Race, man, that's one I'll have to track down!
Haven't played it in many many years!
Looking forward to seeing your projects.
