Title: Modded Sega Saturn Lifespan
Post by: testicle187 on September 27, 2006, 10:52:12 am
I modded my saturn with a mod-chip from racketboys site about a year ago and booted it up this morning to play a game.  It wouldn't read the backup, so I got out the original and no luck there either.  I tried a few more originals and backups and it just sits at the loading screen.  Strange thing is that it will play audio off the cds and audio cds in general.  Does this sound like my mod chip has kicked the bucket?

Take the modchip out and try it.

Reseat the card that the chip is on. Pull the ribbon cable and reinsert it. If they're not making good contact you can get strange problems like this.

Those floppy ribbon cables are a pain in the ass.
