I have a 3 sided cocktail table and I want the display to be rotated 180 degrees. I do not have a graphics card so when I go to display properties -> settings -> advanced there is no rotate option... Any ideas?
I'd also be open to a solution rotating Gamelauncher 180 degrees and then all of the horizontal games in MAME..
Thanks!!

For a golbal solution.... buy a video card that does support rotation.
both gamelauncher and mame support rotation btw... doesn't help you with anything else though

Thanks. So for a short term solution, how do I setup Gamelauncher to rotate 180 degrees and launch horizontal games in MAME 180 degrees too?
Thanks a lot.

I have a cotail table and tried having windows rotated via good video cards and 3rd party software.
Worked great for windows
I gave up on the idea as a few mame games got 'upset' having something in the background rotate them rather than mame itself.
I found that the if you left windows alone and use a FE that rotates 'natively' (there are a few) and use the options on mame to rotate the games the setup was much happier.
Obvioulsy I hide Windows so you don't notice its not rotated

Can I still use Gamelauncher?
Also, how do I rotate a game 180 degrees? I know -ror and -rol rotate 90 degrees but I can't seem to find the command to rotate 180 degrees? I also can -flipx and -flipy but not rotate 180!
Any help would be great.

Sure if you are using DOS. If using windows XP you would get more benifits using Mala or Atomic etc..

Ahhh... flip both! duh! OK, it works!!
I am using XP but I want to keep it simple and I really like the look of Gamelauncher. I know there is a Gamelauncher skin but for some reason the font doesn't look right on my laptop (but maybe it will on my arcade monitor?). I guess I'll give it a shot tomorrow...

I used Gamelaucher for many years until I got a decent PC for my Cocktail mame table.
If you are referring to the MaLa Gamelauncher skin (that I am using too until Gamecreature finishes my custom one) make sure you have put the supplied font into the windows font directory. I also choose a similar 'click' sound to play when moving through the selections.

I thought I did but maybe I didn't... I'll have to check that out because that would explain a lot...
