Man, you hear about all this alternate energy stuff for cars, but it never seems to catch on or pan out. Hope this one does.
Eventually, within our lifetimes, hopefully, one of the sources will. They simply HAVE to - the oil can't last forever and someone, somewhere has to back this stuff to get it rolling to the mainstream.
"The Gates-Buffett Foundation for an Energy Independent America" has a nice ring to it. :)

It sounds too good to be true, but hopefully it is true. The engines in cars have been essentially the same for the past 100 years (granted theres been huge leaps in efficiency, but the core concept is still the same), its about time someone invented something better.
This isn't the first company to make incredible claims like this, so I won't be holding my breath until they release the engine.

That's a waste of beer!

Gotta use that cheap crappy beer somehow.

In-laws, coworkers, boss etc.

All toolbags. Make them bring their own.
-
If they bring their own, they want to stay longer. Make them drink swill and they will leave sooner.
That's the idea but it never works that way. Idiots shouldn't be over anyway.

Besides... Mr. Fusion only powered the Flux Capacitor and the Time Circuits. The engine for the Delorean was still gas powered.

Good thing too. It's not fun stealing plutonium from maniac terrorists. ;D

Honda's working towards us having our own hydrogen refueling stations:

Sweet. Too bad for people in apartments.

...and too bad electricity in my area is diesel based anyway, so I would lose even more efficiency
-
its a battery. nothing 'flux capacitor'ish about that. if its more efficient than the other batteries, great! im keen on electric cars myself since they energy can come from where ever. hydro electric, windfarms, nuclear, coal, whole buncha prisoners running in a treadmill...
-
whole buncha prisoners running in a treadmill...
See, now that is what we need. Remember in Conan the Barbarian where he spins that wheel thing for like 10 years straight? That is what we need in prisons. Keep a few of those attached to big 'ol flywheels and have the prisoners keep them going 24 hours a day. who cares if it would only produce an insignificant amount of power. At least it would be productive. ;D
-
Think about that one. Remember what that wheel did to Conan?
Who wants to give prisoners the ability to run indefinitely? Isn't the reason we keep them in veal cages so that they can't?

...if the prisoners can push that wheel thingy for 10 years, then they deserve to have infinite stamina. ;D

We don't want them to have it, though. I say we burn them for fuel.
