Most all parts for this brand are availible at www.pentusa.com......this is a parts house not Pentarnic...hope this helps as they have chassis, schematics, parts, and most tubes in stock

Appears to be another incarnation of ALS Marketing. Some people have had problems with them.

I don't trust anyone with "New Page 4" on their homepage. :lame:

That's funny, a whois lookup of pentusa reveals:
Registrant:

Looks like that domain was registered by ALS Marketing. Furthermore YOUR OWN listed email address on this board is sales @ pentusa dot com.
You post to promote your own commercial interests, then are misleading about the origins of the company? Sounds like a spammer to me......
As for the "professional" comment, the three people that have replied in this thread are experienced repair techs that actually work in the coin op field. I'd say you are dealing with a professional bunch.
It looks like you are getting off on the wrong foot here. I've seen your other posts and you seem to be familiar with the monitor industry and you probably have a lot to offer a group like this. Be upfront, drop the BS, it isn't needed here.

Yes you are correct, however our firm Capital Technologies is a parts house located in southern Ohio. In 2001 we purchased and kept all rights to Pentranic USA including parts, website, and UL licenses and such. In may of this year we bought out all inventory and rights to ALS Marketing LLC. We have continued to use their sights and info to allow continuation of service to their former clients. All of their emails are domain forwarded to our direct email at captech@zoomnet.net located in Portsmouth, Ohio. I would also add that we probably have the largest crt inventory of any entity in the USA for gaming, amusement, and television industries.

Well, I have called this company, emailed multiple times, as well as a PM on this message board. I have asked over and over again for someone to get me information/schematics on the 688 that you had all over EBay, but have received no response. I'd honestly like to know what is going on with all these requests.
As many on this board will remember I had purchased a New ALS monitor, and out of the box the crt ground wire was plugged into the Horiz Circuit. I now need to repair that, or have it repaired. If you are looking for more sales to the general public or to operators, then bringing up customer service would be a big plus. I have a small operation that stretches in a 60-75 mile radius from my home town. Inexpensive monitors are a plus, but not if I cannot get any support for them.

DavidsGames:
That is exactly the problems other people have had with the various incarnations of ALS Marketing and Pentranic monitors in general. Bad customer service, no responses, etc. apparently is nothing new to them.
IMO, "partsguy" was just spamming to drum up business.

I agree, I bought a 25" cga/ega Pentranic from Frank (probably the same guy selling the monitors now) and it worked for less than a year then the screen turned really yellow. (Should have lived with it). Send the chassis back (under warranty), he did send a replacement but it only has a horizontal line. Biggest waste of $350 I ever spent!

I wish I could have made the time to go tothe AMOA show in Vegas this year, but I had too much piling up here to do. It would have been somewhat satisfying to drop off the crapped out chassis on the table. LOL
All I can say is...
