They tacked on a $25 USPS insurance fee at the checkout that didn't appear to be optional.  Probably still a good deal though.

Huhh. I had no such fee.

My total charge before the rebate was $25. After the rebate, the cost will be $0. (Not counting a stamp and envelope for the rebate.)

Free shipping for me.  Just had to click the "Click here for ground shipping on the last screen".  No sales tax.

I figured it out.  My credit card billing address includes a PO Box.  Even if I put the street address in the first address field and the PO Box in the second, it still adds that USPS insurance.  When I removed the PO box it removed the insurance.

Thanks for the pointer. My 350W is getting flaky and this makes the replacement a no brainer.

You can fill out the rebate online and get it put into your paypal account too.

Which am I supposed to print?  The copy that came in my email, or the copy that came up as soon as I bought it?  Neither seem to say "invoice."  Or will that magic worded document come in the mail with the item?
You can fill out the rebate online and get it put into your paypal account too.

Disclaimer on the site says you still have to wait 8-10 weeks for paypal which was the same as the check.  Don't know what that "no wait rebate" thing is all about though...betcha it costs a small fee.

If you can't wait for $25 in the mail...you may have financial problems. :'(

I received an e-mail confirming that my rebate was approved on October 11.

The rebate did require an "Invoice", but Outpost never supplied any document with the word "Invoice" on it. Covering all bases I send in:
A screen print of the order confirmation page.
A copy of the packing slip.
A copy of the "Proof of Purchase" E-Mail Outpost supplied when I
contacted customer service and asked for an Invoice.
