I'm not sure if this should go in woodworking or not, but I guess I'm looking for opinions and direction so here goes:
Talking with the wife and a friend about building my first cabinet, the recommendation is I build it out of ash and stain/laminate to get the look I want. So the question is, what types and colors of buttons and joysticks do you go with? I was thinking stainless steel and possibly translucent blue buttons, or maybe solid black buttons, but I'd like opinions and thoughts of others who have built cabs.
And, yes, I searched for wood-paneled cabinets, but I'm either not having good luck tonight or something...
Any ideas, thoughts, opinions? Or a link pointing to a couple people who have built wood-paneled and stained cabinets so I can get some images to get ideas from?
A million thanks...

CmdrTaco's Jubei:

There are at least three more that come to mind, but I had the links for these handy.
Cheers.

The "Woody" (snicker) is simply Beautiful!
Hey Hockey, keep in mind, you can never go wrong with Black, with the exception of the "1P & 2P" buttons.
Goodluck!

Geez, TOTALLY forgot about that section within this site...thanks for the link.
Yeah, I'm in awe of Knievel's Woody - even sent him a PM about it.
Really starting to get that itch to build now...
