Hey guys, got a situation.
I have a pair of the ACTLabs Lightguns (Spacegun version), set them up, they work well as far as being accurate on the windows desktop.
But when I use MAME (MAME ver.105b, Lightgun is enabled, trigger is mapped), any game fires ok (I see the shot go off) but no matter where I aim the gun, the shot lands right in the middle of the screen where the crosshairs are.
As said earlier, the Lightgun input is enabled in the Mame.ini.
Any Ideas?

On a further note, I also tried MAME32 with the same settings to no effect, the gun fires, MAME picks up the ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---, but the shot is always landing in the center.
HELP! lol

Starting with mame 0.105, official mame could use multiple mice and other mouse devices in winXP. The thing is now mice act like joysticks: mouse 1 is default mapped to player 1, mouse 2 to player 2, ect. This means if you lightgun is, say, mouse 3, you have to remap it (not just the trigger but the gun too, just you would need to remap a gamepad's buttons and d-pad).
Remap much like joysticks but after enter, shoot middle of screen, then shoot 3/4 to edge of screen (repeat for each axis).
