Title: amd64 3700+???

In the mame32 cutom\amd64 3700+ folder the games wont run very good on my amd64 3800+ !!Is that it or am i missin something?????? im also running 2 stiks of 512 and a geforce 7300 gs. :cheers:

Ok il explain more clearly. If you go into mame32 and go to custom folders you will see that there is a folder called amd64 3700+, i am presuming that you need a cpu that fast to run theese games. My system is running faster than that but i still cant run them they go reeeeeeel slow and sound is jumpy too. what i am asking is what do i need to do to make these games run at full speed? :dizzy: :dizzy:

I have run MAME on a PII 400 with excellent results!

Some of the games in that folder do not run at full frames on any desktop system.  The CHD games are an example.  Some only require tweaks.   The cruisn' series for example ran better on my A3700+ and  A4000+ systems with frameskip set to a manual setting instead of auto.  I really don't understand the significance of the folder, however, as at least one of the games is in not working status.  My theory is that this folder group was built around drivers that have A64 optimization benefits and the driver bases involved were just tested on a 3700+; seem likely?
