Oh Gee....
Does this mean we current owners of the dual stick X Arcade Gaming System, get to add a trackball?
Great! Will X Arcade issue a replacement facia with the cutouts for the trackball?
How will this interface?
Answers on a postcard.....

wish they would have had this when i bought my x-arcade a few years ago...that way when i ripped it apart and mounted it in my own control panel, i wouldnt have had to hack a mouse for my trackball...

Pretty good looking setup at a fair price. I use the 2 player x-arcade joystick with the Xbox adapter to travel with, would be pretty cool to add a good game of Missile Command, Centipede and others I guess..... Ah hell, who am I kidding, I only play Robotron anyway.

Son of a B....
I just got an X-Arcade last christmas.
I'm now annoyed...I def. would have wanted this version...

After reading the subject, I am disappointed. I thought they were releasing an affordable tank style joystick with trigger and thumb buttons.

Any news, if they gonna offer a spinner with their line of products?
Crap, I got two player console and trackball about a month ago. It cost me around $190 for both with shipping (both from Ebay). I don't like button layout on the trackball and there is more space between player 1 and 2, so would prefer this kind of console. In addition, the original 2-player box is too light for me, so it sometimes moves during gameplay. May have to put some velcro on it or something. :banghead:

if the UK price is reasonable (unlikley) i'll be selling off my X-Arcade
if only to stop getting so upclose and personal to whoever is playing on the other side.

$199 right now on their official site.

A lot of people knock X-Arcade products but the truth is........
It's not a bad product for people who don't want to build everything themselves. The sticks are better than Happs Ultimates.... (anything is better than those). The buttons and sticks are a bit clicky sounding but good quality, what the hell!! turn your game sound up. In fact I've actually got X-Arcade sticks in my own panel because I like the feel of them for 8-way games.
The trackball is a good quality one. Plus we know that the company is reliable and delivers the goods they advertise. All in all the price isn't really bad either.
Not something for me... simply because I like building and customising my own stuff and not buying things off the shelf like that. I'd rather buy a whole bunch of parts from people like Groovey Game Gear or Ponyboy or our other reliable suppliers, and do my own woodwork. That said, some people prefer to buy things this way..... "You Pays Yer Money You Takes Yer Choice" all in all it's not a bad product.
I did like the fact that they've now added pinball buttons on the end panel, making it that much more flexible.
