So is there any other alternative avaible ? Like dos is lightweight
I found an old version of fraggal's boot cd but sound's is not working :-[ (SBLIVE driver..)
Or an other alternative like i said.. I knew that omnicade was dead so on... :-[
Ill post my sound error as soon as i can.

Well with sblive driver i get
Pci Device Detect Failed; Device not found.
-
Great Cd that,
but the sound issues suck and trying to resolve them sometimes takes forever.
There is KnoppixMame and Advanced CD.
Give them a try if you can't sort out Fraggals CD.
Good luck!

Ok well I tried advanceCD and a bit too heavy to play some games that would work in dos..

Try Knoppix.
It's a 'live' OS.
Means you can run without even having a HDD cos everything is installed on the CD. You can even install it on a flash device which you plug into any PC and reboot and it becomes an instant arcade machine, well sorta.

What is the model number of your souncard? (example: CT4790) It might not work in pure Dos mode.
This site (http://www.mameworld.net/dosmame/compatibility.php) (http://www.mameworld.net/dosmame/compatibility.php) may help. There is a list of common soundcard issues halfway down.

Supposed to work she's on the list
But once i got the sound drivers it's now mame that he is freezing >:(

Sounds like you might have hardware problems. Fraggal's boot CD works well when you have supported hardware. Install the most basic configuration you can get away with to minimize variables.
-
mameOS is another option.
