ClubNinja had a multigamed SIDeluxe... not sure if that is the kit, though.  Try PMing him.

That's one of Scott Brasington's kits,  all his stuff is top-notch.  I haven't got the SI kit, but I have got other stuff from him (the Battlezone high score save kit comes to mind) and it was first rate.

Those are pretty damn reasonably priced, worth it just for the built-in diagnostics IMHO....

This is sweet.I have a taito cocktail and this would be cool. especially space laser. Anyone try the centiped millipede kit? does it go on  a centi' board?

Scott's kit is for the Midway boardset.  I doubt it would work with the Taito boardset.  There are substancial differences between the Midway and Taito boards, two very different beasts.

I agree. I seriously doubt this would work on a Taito, it does specify that it's for the Midway version.

Believe it or not, I had this multigame working in a Taito SI deluxe cocktail.  It was a three board stack.  I emailed Scott, and he said it might work.  I tried it and it worked fine.  It is a great multigame kit and is priced right.  Email Scott with your boardset and ask him if he thinks it will work.  I have since sold my cocktail, and I miss the multigame.

I stand corrected. Very cool that it works on both versions.

It really is amazing how much floor-thumping bass this thing puts out, it's just got one 6x9 in it.

Space Duel is the same way.  I need to upgrade mine.  The bonus stage hum would give people vertigo.   :laugh2:

I thought about putting a sub in there just for grins, but mine's a cocktail and there's just no room for one.

Run a line out to an external someplace else.  Like outside the house.  That would rock.

I guess I could go one step further and hook it up to a big PA system. That way the whole county will know when I'm fighting off the Invaders! ;)

Broadcast it in RF.  That way the whole region will know!

Came in last night. It took all of about two minutes to install including the time it took me to find the key. If you own a Space Invaders or a Space Invaders Deluxe, you owe it yourself to buy this. It was about $65 shipped, best $65 I've spent in a long time! It's amazingly cool to be able to play all of these black & white classics on my SI!

Space Invaders
Space Invaders Deluxe
Jatre Specter
Lunar Rescue
Space Laser
Balloon Bomber
Galaxy Wars
Super Earth Invasion

This is a little OT, but since you are on the topic of SI deluxe cocktail I thought I would ask.

On your cocktail can player 2 control player 1 and vice versa?  On my cab, this happens and this is the reason why I have been putting off buying the multigame kit. I was unsure if I could play the game where both players play at the same time.

I'm not sure I understand your quesion. I haven't tried any two player games yet, but I'll do so tonight.

Okay, I'm still unsure of what it is that you're asking, but I played all of the games in two player over the weekend. All of the games work correctly, the screen flips for player two as you would expect. Space Laser is only a one player game, but otherwise two player mode worded perfectly for everything else.

Sorry for the confusion.  Let me clarify.

On my SI deluxe cocktail when you play a 2 player game of SI Deluxe; Player 1 & 2 can move & fire no matter whose turn it is.  For Example: If it is player 1 turn, player 2 can control player 1s ship & vice versa.

Is this normal?

I just wanted to make sure this is normal before I ordered a multi kit.

Doesn't sound normal to me, but I'll check it out tonight.

Definitely not normal. Honestly it's never occured to me to see if you can control P1's laser base with the p2 controls, but I gave it a try last night anyway. I can only control the P1 side with the P1 controls & vice versa.

Now that I think about this, my controls were acting erratically a while back. I pulled out the boards and really cleaned up the edge connectors. That fixed the problem in my case, but I was having a slightly different issue. Still you might give that a shot.
