Hey all,
Just a quickie.
Is there any way of removing the " (UE)[!] " from the end of the snap titles in a batch?
I really dont like the idea of going through the few thousand or so titles that are there and fixing them all individually.
Whats the story with those tags anyway? are they diferent country versions?

Use this little tool-got it a few years ago, works great. Make sure you read the help file, it's not inutitive at all.

Thanks, looks like it will be a big help... once I figure out how to get it to do what I want. Do you remember how to get it to leave the file name the same and remove the last few digits? I can't seem to get it to do that.

Most renaming utils use patterns (aka as wildcards) and is usually represented by a "*" meaning replace with any number of characters or a "?" to replace one char. Eg T* would mean all files starting with T, and T?? would mean every three letter word starting with T. So if you were to remove the end of each file starting from the space before the open bracket it would be something like " (*".

Very intuitive, with a preview before you hit the "Rename" button.
Enjoy,
