Does anyone know if the original Ms Pacman cabinet had the rubber kick plate installed at the bottom from the factory, or was that something that was added at a later time? Looks like about 50% I see have them, the rest don't. It looks like super pacman had it factory installed, nearly every one of those i see has one. Just trying to restore mine to 100% factory accurate.

Every Ms. Pac we had on our route (back in the glory days) had a kickplate on it. BTW, that was not made of rubber. It was a black vinyl plastic.

Thanks ken, that's kind of what i thought. The instruction manual shows one, and the more i look at my game, i think i can see some staple holes at the bottom where one used to be.
The only problem is that it looks like it covers up a little bit of the bottom of the ghosts, and in my opinion, it looks better without it. Now that the game is home use only, i see no need for it. What is your guys's opinion on it. Does it look 'incomplete' without the kickplate?

I say it looks better without it as well.
It's a home machine, show it off!!! ;D
