Title: Alternatives to Happs bezels?
Post by: Texasmame on September 09, 2006, 09:47:23 am
As pictured here:

May decase the TV (24" new flat screen Sanyo).  Made one before with constructino paper and used smoked plexi to cover any imperfections.  Just wondering if anyone had better ideas than that - something more stable.  Black spraypainted cardboard, perhaps?

Anyone?

I see the $2 bezel (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=17175.msg136366#msg136366) was made from poster board.  I would think that would hold up a ton better than construction paper and would still be cheap.  Plus, you wouldn't have to de-case.

Good luck!

Yeah, posterboard would be much better.  Hmm. . . guess a trip to Michael's is in my future!  If I find a better material than posterboard there for this project, I'll post it here.

Thx.
