Title: goodtools tags, mamemwah and GBA previews
Post by: papaschtroumpf on September 03, 2006, 01:36:00 pm
I feel that this hsould have been answered before but I can't find it:

I got the GBA movite previews, but they were generated from slightly different versions of the ROMS so the goodtools tags don't match. For example when I sorted my ROMS I always kept the US only version when there was several international versions. The first GBA movie is from the (UE) version of 007, when I'm runing the (U) version.

I there a way to tell mamewah to ignore the goodtools tags when matching movie titles? I'm reluctant to change the file names to rename the tags out.

Also I'm almost certain there is a way to make a mamewah list that does NOT show the goodtools tags but I can'tremember how.

You could try using 'enable_fuzzy_search 1' in your emuname.ini file - this is more likely to find a suitable movie preview...the naming does not have to be exact.

I wasn't aware of that option, I'll look for it.
