It's a FULLY open source concept. Designed with hackers and programmers in mind.
It's designed as a remote information display, with HUGE possibilities.
Currently it has replaced my desk clock, and feeds me the following:
Photos from my flickr album.
Google news
Digg news
slashdot news
a live shamu the killer whale webcam
Stock prices
etc.
It will also play mp3s and videos.
Touch screen, built in wifi.
Only requires a wall wart.

The buzz about this item is pretty widespread, and I think it may just catch on.
They will be available in Spring 07 to the public.
