Title: Pacman Restoration
Post by: eccs19 on August 31, 2006, 09:23:22 pm
Picked up a converted Pacman last weekend, and I'm planning on doing at least a partial restoration on it. Not sure if it will be 100%, but gonna see how things go. I'll attach a picture of how it came out of the van, and post others as things come along. Overall the cab has lots of good features. Seems to have the correct coin door, all the wiring seems good, cabinet itself is solid, no moisture damage. I think it has good potential. It was painted with that textured paint, I may try removing it with a heat gun, and see how the graphics look under it, but if it needs re-doing, I'm not that worried.

Anyone need an Altered Beast marquee? (Looking to trade for a Pacman marquee)   :applaud:

I've got access to a large format plotter with gloss photo paper in it, so I printed these out. Still not 100% sure if I'll use them all. Mostly questioning the CPO, but I'll see.

The converted Control Panel has leaf buttons and sticks. The sticks are 8 way, so not right for Pacman, but I'll use the leaf buttons.   :D
