Title: Any suggestions for HOW TO CLEAN PLEXI without scratching it?

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to clean plexi that covers a monitor or lexan that covers a control panel without scratching it?

For just general cleaning, windex and a cotton t-shirt (no iron-ons or whatnot) works fine.

Novus # 2 Plastic Polish and a couple of clean rags.

Hmmm...small aside here-has anyone every tried using Novus for repairing scratched CDs?

Yes, I use Novus #2 all the time for repairing Cd's on CD jukeboxes, especially on cd's in a smoky tavern.

The other thing to try once you have it generally cleaned is an auto polish product called "Back To Black" I think it's made by "Simonz".....  Works absolute wonders on all plastics. It's also fabulous for making laminate surfaces look brand new.

I have always used windex and a shami cloth. :)
