well its ot quite a disease... i have painted my gamecube a few times now... and recently the last time i opened it up one of the 2 Tray toggles broke off... :timebomb:
i have tryed many things to get it to fool it as being closed... but it still keeps thinking its open. any perma close options? or easy solder ones?

it also displays no sound, i havent put it fully back together though, it may just be a gound screw or something, but maybe someone else knows?
other than that it also does not read any games, ive gotten it as close to Booting up a few but when it gets passed the logo + Dolby crap it displays a buffer error. this is most likely the case of me nudging the POT on the Board, i hope.
anyone familar with these problems in simular devices?

looks like there are two wires going to it...
if it is a regular switch, connecting the 2 wires to each other might make it perma closed
or you can get a simple toggle switch if it works
for all i know though it might fry the whole gamecube...so attempt at your own risk!!
