Title: best 'online' virus scanner thats free to use

any help would be appreciated, nd to know a good link to a free online virus checker/scanner

I use Bitdefender (http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html) and TrendMicro (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/).

I've had good luck with the following,

Seems a little more thorough than some of the others.

I've heard good things about Avast antivirus.... but I havn't tried it yet....

I also use AVG.  I, personally, haven't had any problems........yet.

'online' rules out AVG, AFAIK.

For indidiual files - http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexx.html

For system scans, the previously mentioned ones.
