Title: is it possible to turn a gamecube controller into a cp

hello all is it possible to rewire the gamecube controller buttons to my cp like you can with a dreamcast controller? i dont want to use the analogue stick just the dpad and buttons

sorry to double post but heres a pic of the button connections which part of each button needs to have the silver revealed and have the wire soldered to it? if i remember on the dreamcast it was the left hand side theres a top bottom left and right to these

I'm not sure.  However, I know hacking a ps1 controller and then using an adaptor will work.  But, if you'd like to try to hack the gc controller, I'll help identify some solder points when you post a better picture of the board.

it should be, but im not too sure about the analog... is it possible to hack the analog on a GC controller?
